Locky

  • Locky is the founder and owner of Personal Performance Training Centre, owner and creator of Performance Bar, an international fitness product, and co-owner of the Personal Performance Recovery Centre, a wellness and recovery facility supporting athletes and individuals alike.

    With nearly 20 years in the fitness industry, Locky has helped over 2,000 people achieve their goals, trained 150+ competitive boxers, coached premier level AFL football, and organizes VABL boxing events.

    As an athlete, Locky has excelled across boxing, endurance sports, and team competitions. He is a Victorian Middleweight Amateur Boxing Champion, Australian Bronze Medalist, World Spartan Race qualifier, and 2nd place finisher at the 2025 Werribee Open Super Spartan Race. He has also completed the 2XU Triathlon Series event and two half marathons.

    Locky spent over two decades playing AFL with Berwick and Devon Meadows, earning accolades including Under 18’s Leading Goal Kicker, three time Junior League Best & Fairest, Dandenong Stingrays representative, and the 2017 Beau Miller Trophy. His sporting background also includes wakeboarding, swimming, discus, and state level field hockey.

    Locky holds multiple coaching and fitness certifications, including Strength & Conditioning, Boxing, Kettlebell Functional Strength, Bootcamp, Pilates, and Special Needs & Disability training. Passionate about helping people improve life habits, strength, and fitness, he trains clients across all styles of fitness.

    Outside the gym, Locky enjoys football, boxing, obstacle racing, surfing, snowboarding, playing guitar, camping, and spending time with his chocolate Labradors, Humphrey and Milo.

Nikki

  • Nikki is a Certified Personal Trainer (Cert III & IV in Fitness), Qualified Strength & Conditioning Coach, and Nutritionist with over 3 years of experience. She is co-owner of the Personal Performance Recovery Centre, a wellness and recovery facility supporting athletes and individuals alike. Nikki works with clients of all ages and fitness levels, from beginners building confidence to athletes fine tuning performance.

    Passionate about all forms of movement, Nikki has completed multiple Spartan Races, several half marathons, and is training toward her first full marathon. She loves strength and weight training, boxing, kickboxing, Pilates, and sporting background includes netball in her younger years. Her passion for nutrition and healthy living drives her coaching style, helping clients build sustainable habits that last a lifetime.

    With a supportive yet motivating approach, Nikki focuses on consistency and long term progress, empowering clients to feel stronger, healthier, and more confident. Outside the gym, she enjoys spending time with family and friends, travelling, spending time at the beach, hikes/walks, reading, and experimenting with healthy recipes.

Marcus

  • Marcus brings over 15 years of coaching experience and more than 25 years immersed in martial arts to his clients. He competed professionally for 12 years, winning four national titles, and now trains both amateur and professional fighters. Alongside combat sports, Marcus has dedicated over 25 years to strength and resistance training, holding Boot Camp (Levels 1 & 2) and Powerlifting Coaching qualifications.

    He works with clients of all ages and abilities, focusing on motivation, discipline, and pushing past limits. Marcus’s approach emphasizes confidence, resilience, and skills that carry far beyond the gym, helping clients reach both physical and personal goals

    Outside of training, Marcus enjoys lifting (the deadlift is his favourite), running, travelling, and even the occasional boogie. Martial arts, health, and fitness have shaped who he is today, and he is passionate about helping others discover the best version of themselves.

Alex

  • Alex Dorozhkin has been in the fitness industry for over 6 years and brings more than a decade of boxing experience to his coaching. Holding Certificates III & IV in Fitness, he specialises in boxing, kickboxing, and strength & conditioning. Alex has worked with clients of all ages and abilities-from kids as young as five learning their first punches, to adults building confidence, refining technique, or preparing for competition.

    Boxing is Alex’s true passion, and he loves sharing the discipline, skill, and confidence the sport brings. His coaching style is focused, technical, and always tailored to individual goals- whether that’s improving fitness, enhancing performance, or building self confidence.

    Outside the gym, Alex enjoys spending time with his wife, family, and friends. When he’s not boxing, running, or lifting weights, you’ll often find him unwinding with a good gaming session on his computer.

Izzy

  • Izzy began her journey as a group fitness trainer in 2025, teaching performance, power, and boxing classes. She holds a Certificate III in Fitness and specialises in functional training and strength development. Izzy is passionate about holistic health and believes in balancing life and training. Her sessions combine weight training for strength and growth with endurance and power challenges to push overall fitness.

    Helping people feel confident, strong, and motivated drives Izzy every session. She loves seeing clients smash goals and leave the gym feeling empowered. Outside the gym, Izzy enjoys catching up with friends, training, yoga, and active adventures. She is also a big animal lover.

Adrian

  • Originally from Spain, Adrian brings over 17 years of boxing experience to his coaching. Selected by the Spanish High Council for Sports for the youth talent program, he is a four time state champion and national boxing medalist. Adrian trained with world class coaches, including Chano Planas from Spain, where he built his boxing foundation, as well as Pedro Morán and Rubén Lira from Mexico. He also founded a boxing gym in his neighborhood, which remains active today.

    Adrian works with clients of all levels, from beginners to competitors. His coaching blends the structured techniques of Spanish and Mexican boxing—both offensive and defensive—with personal development through the sport.

    His style is technical, demanding, and tailored to each individual, with a focus on padwork and bodyweight training as his favourite exercises.

    Outside the gym, Adrian is a full time dad, a lover of world cuisine, especially Spanish and Italian, a fan of Australia and its people, and a firm believer in positive energy and daily growth.

Rod

  • Rod has been a Personal Trainer for over eight years, working confidently with clients from all walks of life. He specialises in strength training, helping everyday people get stronger - whether for general fitness, muscle building, or injury recovery and prevention. Rod holds a Cert III & IV in Fitness, a Performance Nutrition certification, and is currently pursuing a Bachelor of Exercise Science.

    Passionate about teaching, Rod describes himself as a “driving instructor for fitness,” empowering clients with the skills and confidence to train independently. His current training style of choice is power building, blending heavy lifting with muscle development, and his favourite exercise is the weighted pull-up.

    Outside the gym, Rod is a self confessed fantasy and sci-fi nerd, an avid hiker, and the proud caretaker of around 150 indoor plants.

James

  • James has spent the last 20 years dedicated to boxing and kickboxing. In March 2024, he claimed the MBV Victorian Title, followed by the WBF Australian Boxing Title in November 2024. Training has become a lifelong pursuit for James, keeping him physically and mentally strong while shaping his passion for martial arts.


    This dedication inspired him to study Certificate III & IV in Fitness through the National Health & Fitness Academy (NHFA), enabling him to share his knowledge and love for the sport with others. James is passionate about helping people develop their skills and achieve their fitness goals. He places a strong emphasis on mastering the fundamentals of boxing and kickboxing, believing that solid foundations are key to building strong martial artists and ensuring long-term success in the sport.


    Outside of the gym, James is known as “Mr. Fixit.” He enjoys building and repairing just about anything and is currently restoring a 1950s project car—completion date still to be confirmed.
